Currently, for samples where the detected values are equal to the Limit of Quantitation (LOQ), our reports indicate this as "
<LOQ
". We have reviewed this approach and decided to make a significant update for greater clarity and accuracy in our reporting.Moving forward, only
values strictly less
than LOQ (not equal to LOQ) will appear as "<LOQ". In cases when values strictly equal LOQ, we will report the actual detected value that is equal to the LOQ.Similarly, values equal to the Limit of Detection (LOD) currently report as "
ND
". Values less than LOD
will continue to display "ND" on the report, but values equal to will report as "<LOQ" or the value if no LOQ value is present for that analyte. We understand that this change may require some adjustments in your current workflow. Please feel free to reach out to support@confidentlims.com if you have any questions or need further clarification. If you would still like to report "<LOQ" or "ND" at equal values, please notify our team so that we can reconfigure your LIMS.
